Modist Brewing Co. begins $2M renovation of its North Loop space
A $2 million renovation is underway at Modist Brewing Company's North Loop location.
The brewery at 505 N. 3rd St. will oversee a 7,000-square-foot renovation in its historic brick building, which will build out its event space as well as add offices and a brewing lab for employees.
The entire process is expected to be completed by mid-July, according to the company.
"Detached from the existing taproom, the renovation of the existing brick industrial building features a flexible, two-story event space. The renovation also includes a pre-function bar and waiting area," the brewery said.
It will also have "glitter concrete floor, large murals, dichroic glass, and mirrored ceilings with mounted neon fixtures."
Modist Brewing has been open since 2016.
“Our team intentionally involved various user groups to build a North Loop modern, tricked-out, punk rock- and chic-designed event space to be welcoming and inclusive of many communities and uses,” said Daniel Paul Willendorf, owner of Modist Brewing.
"Group gatherings of all kinds are back, and this will be a community space perfectly suited for a corporate presentation, happy hour, a wedding party or to take your dog's birthday party to the next level."
