Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport continues to fly high atop the rankings for the best airports in the world.
The Twin Cities travel hub was named the best airport in North America for its size for the third year in a row by Airports Council International (ACI).
It shared top billing in North America for airports that handle 25-40 million passengers with Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.
Other winners in the same size category include Dublin Airport in Ireland, Chongqing Jiangbei International in China, and Oslo-Gardemoen Airport in Norway.
The rankings are compiled based on customer surveys, with questions relating to check-in, security, restrooms, stores, restaurants and other facilities.
MSP now counts CBS' Gayle King among its fans, with the TV host posting a video praising the airport's women's bathrooms when she was in town this past January.
"MSP Airport’s consistently high ranking underscores the effective public-private partnerships at the airport and the airport community’s shared commitment to providing the best experience possible for travelers,” said Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) CEO Brian Ryks in a press release.
It comes after MSP Airport was named the best airport for dining and 2nd best for shopping in the USA Today Readers' Choice awards.
