Music in the Zoo lineup: Blondie, Jayhawks, Ziggy Marley, Grace Potter and more

The lineup for this year's Music in the Zoo has been announced.

U.S. Bank FlexPerks Rewards Music in the Zoo released the lineup for its 24th concert season at the Minnesota Zoo on Monday, and it features a variety of 27 artists who will play at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley this summer.

“This year’s series features legendary artists and fan favorites as well as new artists who help define this summer’s outdoor music experience,” Sue McLean & Associates President Kimberly Gottschalk said in a statement. “The intimate outdoor live music experience that Music in the Zoo offers is truly magical.”

  • Home Free – June 12 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Ziggy Marley – June 13 at 7:30 p.m.

  • Los Lobos with special guest Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers – June 19 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Dark Star Orchestra – June 23 at 7 p.m.
  • Buddy Guy – June 24 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Morris Day & The Time – June 30 at 7:30 p.m.

  • Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers – July 2 at 7:30 p.m.
