Netflix went down on Saturday night.

Those hoping to stay in and binge-watch their favorite show were greeted with error messages that said Netflix was "having technical difficulties" or "unable to process your request."

For Minnesotans, it was around 8:30 p.m. when Netflix responded via Twitter:

Apparently, the issue affected Netflixers using the web player, which included not only Americans but also users in Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Switzerland, and New Zealand, Digital Trends said.

People with Apple TV were still able to enjoy "Orange is the New Black" and "Stranger Things" while the rest of the country had to sit tight and wait for the problem to get sorted out "ASAP".

The whole thing lasted a few hours, and frustrated users took to social media to vent their feelings.

Finally, Netflix tweeted, "We're Back!"

But when you're deep into a new show, even a few minutes without Netflix is too much.
