Minnesota natives Joel and Ethan Coen are revealing more about their upcoming film "Inside Llewyn Davis" in a new trailer for the film, Screen Rant reports.

The trailer is the third for the musical folk tale, which stars Oscar Isaac as a struggling folk singer during the pre-Bob Dylan Greenwich Village music scene in the early 1960s. The Coens first released a red band trailer before the film competed at the Cannes Film Festival in May, and a green band follow-up last month.

The new trailer delves a bit into Llewyn's background, including revelations about his former musical partner. He also has a rough encounter with some fellow musicians, plus, he reveals and how he obtained the cat seen in previous trailers. More footage is also featured of stars John Goodman, Carey Mulligan and Justin Timberlake.

The trailer also reveals a bit more of the Coen's trademark, offbeat humor. Some of the dialogue includes Mulligan's character asking Llweyn, "Do you ever think about the future at all?" to which he responds, "Do you mean flying cars? Hotels on the moon? Tang?"

The film, which also stars Minnesota native Garrett Hedlund and Oscar native F. Murray Abraham, previously won the prestigious Grand Prix prize at the Cannes Film Festival.

"Inside Llewyn Davis" is set for a limited release in the U.S. Dec. 6 and expand into more theaters Dec. 20.

Showbiz 411 reports that the Coens will be the subject of one of three planned tributes at the upcoming Telluride Film Festival, set for this weekend in Colorado. Per Telluride's secretive nature, who will be and what will screen won't be confirmed until Wednesday.

The Wrap reports that "Inside Llewyn Davis" will likely screen at Telluride, which will mark the film's U.S. premiere.

The film is skipping the Toronto Film Festival in mid-September and instead will be featured at the New York Film Festival later in the month.
