New vendors revealed for food and drink market in St. Paul's Schmidt Brewery

The food hall should open before the State Fair.
Publish date:

The rejuvenation of the Schmidt Brewery is a step closer after a list of new vendors for its upcoming food hall was released this week.

The website for the new Keg and Case West 7th Market now has a list of 17 tenants who will have a presence inside the historic brewery building.

The food hall will be anchored by major tenants In Bloom, from the team behind Revival and Corner Table, and the Pimento Jamaican Kitchen.

Another anchor tenant will trade in beer (obviously, given its surroundings), with Clutch Brewing Co. having a taproom on the mezzanine level overlooking the market.

Other notable names on the list include Five Watt Coffee, the Rose Street Patisserie and Sweet Science Ice Cream, while the Revival team is planning another, as yet-unnamed location within the facility.

Meanwhile, the team behind the O'Cheeze food truck will be launching Gazta and Enhancements, a cheese bar that also serves wine, beer and cocktails.

Food halls are the latest trend sweeping the nation, with St. Paul set to get Keg and Case to go along with the Seventh Street Truck Park that opened last year.

Meanwhile along I-94, Minneapolis is set to get a new food hall at the Dayton's Project, to go with the already-established Midtown Global Market.

Keg and Case West 7th Market is likely to debut this summer, with operators hoping to open the doors before the State Fair.
