No one won the Powerball, pushing the jackpot to $750 million

The cash option on the next drawing is an estimated $428.6 million.

As inexplicable as it was that you didn't win the $1.537 billion Mega Millions drawing Tuesday night, you still have a chance to get filthy rich thanks to another winner-less Powerball drawing.

Nobody hit on all of the numbers – 3, 21, 45, 53, 56 and Powerball 22 – in Wednesday night's drawing, so the estimated jackpot for Saturday's drawing rockets from $620 million to $750 million. The cash option on that is $428.6 million.

It pales in comparison to the Mega Millions monster, but only five lottery jackpots have been larger than the looming Powerball. The last Powerball winner was Aug. 11 when a Staten Island, New York man won $245.6 million.

Oh, and a friendly reminder: you have until 9 p.m. the night of the drawing to buy Powerball tickets in Minnesota. Most states allow purchases until 15 minutes before the drawing, but that's not the case here.
