It's been almost a year since Paisley Park opened as a public museum, allowing fans from all over the world to tour Prince's former home and studio.

Always looking for a reason to party, Paisley Park will mark the year's passing with a first anniversary celebration on Oct. 6.

Visitors at the "Eternal Celebration of Life and Music" will get a first look at new artifacts and museum installations representing iconic periods in Prince's career, a news release says.

That includes pieces from the Under the Cherry Moon, Diamonds And Pearls, Sign O’ The Times, Emancipation, Musicology, Welcome 2 America and 3RDEYEGIRL eras.

Of course, no night at Prince's house would be complete without a dance party. At Paisley Park After Dark, attendees will get to screen a new video highlighting the past 12 months at Paisley Park, including footage from the Celebration 2017 event.

Visitors will also get a special commemorative poster, designed in partnership with illustrator and designer Blule, and a celebratory piece of (probably purple) cake.

There's no special ticket for this event – choose from one of the four tour options on www.OfficialPaisleyPark.com. (A $60 ticket to Paisley Park After Dark is the cheapest way to do both the tour and dance party.)

Prince invited fans to tour Paisley Park for the first time in 2000.

When the facility officially opened as a museum last year, Prince’s sister, Tyka Nelson said, “Opening Paisley Park is something that Prince always wanted to do and was actively working on.”
