Paisley Park to open pop-up shop at Mall of America
Paisley Park will open a new retail store at the Mall of America Friday, where it will sell apparel and memorabilia, as well as display artifacts of Prince’s musical legacy.
The Paisley Park @ MOA pop-up store will be located on the mall’s first level near the Rotunda. The store will be an “outpost” of Prince’s famous estate in Chanhassen, according to a press release.
Paisley Park @ MOA will offer both new and vintage items, including appeal, gifts and music.
“We are excited to partner with Mall of America, it allows us to further share the experience of Paisley Park in our continuing efforts to celebrate Prince’s legacy,” said Alan Seiffert, executive director of Paisley Park, in a statement.
“Our goal is for shoppers to enjoy the offerings of our new retail location, as well as learn more about Paisley Park.”
Many retail shops at Mall of American have opened, though restaurants in the mall are limited to take-out and delivery due to current COVID-19 restrictions. In order to help keep shoppers safe, Mall of America will hold its Black Friday event over several days before and after Thanksgiving.
Paisley Park in Chanhassen typically offers tours, including through recording studios, exhibits and a concert hall. Tours are currently on hold due to COVID-19, but are scheduled to resume next month.
