Party with your dog at Sociable's pet-friendly music festival
It's your dog's turn to party this weekend.
Sociable Cider Werks is hosting a first-of-its-kind, pet-friendly music festival charity event on Sunday that promises to be "one of fall's best dog-friendly events."
Rock 4 Rescues is a day full of music headlined by Australian duo Atlas Genius and featuring local bands Step Rockets, Mark Mallman, CEDAR, and Dan Rodriguez.
The festival also features a pack walk, demonstrations from MN Disc Dog Club, an arts and crafts fair, animal-related vendors, live mural painting, local food trucks, a beer and cider garden, and a silent auction featuring custom-made dog houses.
And if you're thinking about adding to the family, adoptable pets will be on site for meet-and-greets. Here's the full schedule of events.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go to four local animal rescue organizations: Secondhand Hounds, Save-A-Bull Rescue, Twin Cities Pet Rescue and Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of MN.
Tickets are available online or at select locations listed here. It's $35 for general admission – kids 12 and under are free.
Or you can pay $75 for the VIP package and you'll get special treatment: professional photos of your pup, access to a preferred concert viewing area, VIP bar access, four drink tickets, free appetizers, free coffee, a VIPet bar featuring gourmet treats and doggie beer, free chair massages, patio heaters and fire pits, a swag bag, indoor flushable toilets, and access to convenient VIP parking.
