We're coming up on 35 years since "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" was released to the public, and Pee-wee Herman himself is heading off on a nationwide tour to mark the occasion.

Paul Reubens will embark on a 20-city stop to talk about the making of the movie, with Minneapolis among the cities he'll stop at.

He'll be at the State Theatre on Saturday, March 21, with tickets going on general sale this Friday at 10 a.m.

Ticket-holders will get to watch a screening of the 1985 movie, before Reubens takes to the stage to tell stories about his most famous character.

There are several ticket packages available for the event, which includes a backstage package that offers a "backstage mingle" with Reubens, a photo opportunity, a signed print and a "super secret VIP gift item."

Prices for the event have not yet been released.
