Southdale Center in Edina will be home to the newest People’s Organic Coffee and Wine Cafe location.

The cafe, slated to open July 1, will be on the second floor next to Juut Salonspa. It will be the company's sixth location in the Twin Cities.

People’s Organic Coffee and Wine Cafe will offer “organic, local, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items,” according to an announcement from Southdale. The menu will also feature all-day breakfast, baked goods, vegan wine and an espresso bar.

Other locations of People’s Organic Coffee and Wine Cafe are in Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, Seven Points (formerly known as Calhoun Square) in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis, and the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis.

The location will be the company’s second in Edina, with one other at the Galleria, a block away from Southdale.

People's Organic was founded in 2010 by Lynn Gordon, who in 1985 launched the successful French Meadow Bakery. It was the first organically certified bakery in the country, according to its website.
