Stacie Clark of Plymouth will find out on NBC's "Today" show Wednesday whether she has what it takes to be "The Next Fitness Star," the Pioneer Press reports.

The 40-year-old mother of two is vying for the Women's Health Magazine title against four other finalists from across the U.S.

The objective of the contest is to find the "next big name in fitness," and the winner will get an opportunity to star in one of Women's Health's popular DVD series and be featured within the pages of the magazine.

Clark, who used to be a fashion director, now is in the fitness business full-time, and runs Tiger Athletics in Plymouth with her husband, Chris.

According to her "Next Fitness Star" bio, Clark trains and competes in adventures, CrossFit challenges, 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons and ubanathlons.

"To me, staying fit is a lifestyle, not a job," Clark tells Women's Health. "My work is my play, and my play is my work."
