This may be the beginning of a brownie empire.

Original Hockey Mom Brownies (OHMB), a popular food truck and Xcel Energy Center staple, will be opening a brick-and-mortar location in St. Paul this month.

According to the Star Tribune, the shop will be in the former Erbert & Gerbert’s at 1700 Grand Ave.

As the paper notes, it'll be called "The Warming House by Original Hockey Mom Brownies."

About that name, OHMB tells BringMeTheNews it's in keeping with the company's hockey theme.

"When people are playing hockey outdoors or skating, where do they go after? The Warming House," co-owner Andrew Howard said in an email.

As for the opening date, there aren't any specifics yet, but Howard told us they expect to be open before Thanksgiving.

The move marks yet another step up for the family-run business, which launched as a food truck in 2016, according to its website.

Since then, OHMB has made its mark at local sports venues, with its signature brownies being sold not only at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul but also at Target Field in Minneapolis.
