Prince selling his home ... but this one's not purple

"Love Your Dreams ... and Live Your Dreams!"

That's the exhortation in the real estate listing for Prince's villa in the south of Spain. For $7.75 million the 13-room mansion can be yours.

From the tennis court, heated pool, and outdoor jacuzzi the list of luxury features goes on to include "...inside and outside security with camera system, security room, electric generator, water tanks, irrigation system and a water well." All of which prompts The Current to call it comfy pre- or post-apocalypse.

According to the listing Prince bought the property in 1998 as a gift for his wife. That would've been Mayte Garcia, from whom he was divorced in ... 1998. The website curbed.com says Prince has not set foot in the home since then, although Garcia has been known to use it occasionally on weekends.

Spain's English-language newspaper The Olive Press reports that Prince's refusal to return to the villa dates from the loss of his son with Mayte, who died soon after he was born.

Realty Today notes the irony of the Purple One selling a home with little or no purple in it. Curbed.com comments that the star seems to have backed away from his signature color ever since a landlord claimed Prince violated the terms of a lease by painting a home with purple stripes and installing monogrammed purple carpeting.

Complex Art + Design's site also includes a link to a video tour of the home.
