Raising Cane's is continuing its expansion in the Twin Cities, opening its 8th metro restaurant this coming Tuesday.
The Louisiana-based chicken finger chain will open at 13001 Round Lake Boulevard with "grand opening festivities" at 8:30 a.m., featuring a drawing that will award 20 customers with "Free Cane's for a Year."
There will be events running all day at the eatery, including appearances from 101.3 KDWB's Zach Dillon from 9-11 a.m. and 100.3 KFAN's Cory Cove from 1-3 p.m.
The doors to the new restaurant will officially open for dining at 10 a.m., with the first 100 customers who purchase a combo meal winning a Cane's T-shirt, and a coupon for a free "Box Combo" of four chicken fingers, Texas toast, Cane's sauce, fries, slaw and a drink that can be redeemed at a future visit.
Raising Cane's, which was the fastest growing food chain in the country in 2017, opened its 7th Twin Cities location, in Maple Grove, last month.
The chain arrived in Minnesota in 2007, opening its first location in Apple Valley that February.
It also has two locations in Dinkytown, Minneapolis, as well as in Shoreview, West St. Paul and Blaine.
A 9th Minnesota location, in Eagan, was proposed to local planners this past summer, as Hometown Source reported.
