The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office is teaming up with the St. Paul Police Department to offer a safe and free Halloween attraction for families on Saturday.

The "haunted highway" drive-thru attraction will be open from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday and will feature monster, ghosts and zombies at the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office, 425 Grove St., in St. Paul.

The entrance to the event is at Lafayette Road and Grove Street (there will be signs).

The event will allow people to drive by a graveyard and see "other frightening sites that cannot be mentioned," a news release says, noting there will be zombies, ghosts, superheroes and witches along the highway route.

The first 1,000 kids to go through the "haunted highway" will get a free bag of treats upon exiting.
