Monday has seen two major concert announcements for the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
Reba McEntire, the country music and TV star known for hits including "Whoever's in New England" and "Somebody Should Leave" will play the St. Paul arena on May 7.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. at the Xcel box office and at Ticketmaster.com.
She will head out on tour in between stints of her residency in Las Vegas, playing at The Colosseum alongside Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn.
Also announcing a show at the Xcel on Monday was Australian group Tame Impala, who will take to the stage on Friday, July 17, with Perfume Genius joining them for the tour.
Tame Impala was last in the Twin Cities last summer, when they played two sellout shows at the Surly Festival Fields in August.
They're touring on the back of their new album, The Slow Rush, which is released on Feb. 14.
Tickets for the Xcel show go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m., with presale tickets available from 10 a.m. Wednesday.
