Reservations at this new restaurant are going fast – and it's not even open yet
If you want to eat at star chef Gavin Kaysen's newest restaurant, get in line.
People could begin making reservations at Bellecour in Wayzata at 10 a.m. Monday, ahead of the restaurant's March 15 opening.
And as of Tuesday at 7:30 a.m., 1,448 people had booked a table, according to OpenTable's website, with the earliest reservation available at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 23.
The same thing happened when Kaysen opened reservations at Spoon and Stable, his first Twin Cities restaurant, back in 2014.
Kaysen told Eater the response to Bellecour "is honestly one of the most humbling things I've ever seen."

Bellecour – which is named after the town center of Place Bellecour in Lyon, France – occupies the space where long-time seafood restaurant Blue Point used to be on Lake Street in downtown Wayzata.

The bakery is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant has different hours, with the dining room open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and then from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
The bar is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., from 4 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
Kaysen plans to begin serving lunch and brunch "soon."
