If you're looking for a free pick-me-up this week, Starbucks is handing them out.

The coffee giant is running pop-up parties across several major markets starting Friday and ending New Year's Eve, including in Minnesota.

There will be 200 locations announced each day, with a free tall espresso handed out between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

The pop-up locations for Friday in the Twin Cities are at the Starbucks at 7979 Wedgewood Lane North in Maple Grove, and at the Fairdale Shoppes, 2305 Fairview Avenue in Roseville, opposite the Rosedale Center.

You can check back here every day between now and Dec. 31 to find the latest pop-ups.
