Starbucks is gearing up for the holidays and will release its red cups and holiday drink menu on Friday.

In addition to the holiday menu, Starbucks is giving customers who buy a handcrafted holiday beverage of any size at participating stores on Friday a free red collectible holiday cup that's reusable, the coffee chain says.

“Our thought behind the cups this year was about people carrying them out in the world as messengers of joy,” Jeff Wilkson, Starbucks creative director, said in a statement to USA Today. "In a way that message deepened as we got further and further into this year. We want to be that beacon for people, a brief moment that they can look forward to."

The cup giveaway is available in-store, drive-thru, delivery or curbside pickup while supplies last. And the offer is good on any handcrafted holiday or fall beverage (hot, iced or blended).

That includes: Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Eggnog Latte, Hot Chocolate, Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Peppermint Mocha, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Pumpkin Cream Nitro Cold Brew, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew, Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate, Salted Caramel Mocha and Toasted White Chocolate Mocha.
