Sun Country adds new routes from MSP to California, New England
Sun Country is adding two more destinations to its schedule from Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport, launching new routes to California and New England this fall.
The Minnesota-based airline announced it will launch nonstop service to Monterey, in central California, and Manchester, New Hampshire, starting Aug. 8.
Sun Country also announced the extension of its booking schedule through Dec. 10, with the route to Manchester aimed at travelers seeking to take in New England's spectacular fall colors.
Monterey meanwhile is likely to be a popular destination with summer travelers making a beeline for fairytale beach city of Carmel-by-the-Sea, local wineries, and famed golf course Pebble Beach.
Sun Country has also announced it will start offering limited service starting in March to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which it says is an "opportunity to convert flights used to position charter aircraft into available seats for customers."
Tuesday's announcement brings the total number of airports served by Sun Country to 108 across North and Central America.
