Target extends its Prime Day rival sale to 3 days
Minneapolis-based Target will expand its summer digital sale this year to three days.
Target Deal Days will go from June 20 to June 22, spanning an extra day than in past years.
The sales will apply to categories throughout Target’s inventory, including electronics, home and beauty. Gift cards will also be 5% off during the sale. And food and beverage will be included in the three days of deals for the first time ever this year.
“Target Deal Days is bigger and better than ever for all guests, with more days and ways to save, including food and beverage deals this year,” said Christina Hennington, Target’s executive vice president and chief growth officer, in a statement.
“Our industry-leading, safe and easy fulfillment options deliver same-day joy — with no waiting or membership fee required.”

No Target membership is required to get the discounts but the deals are available for online purchases only (that does include same-day fulfillment services like order pickup and drive up).
The promotional event coincides with the annual Amazon Prime Day, a digital sale for Amazon Prime members. The event will take place on June 21 and June 22 and also includes a wide variety of categories.
