Watch: Taylor Swift is more Minnesotan than you

There are two reasons Taylor Swift is getting extra attention today if you live in or near Minnesota.

First, tickets for her 2015 St. Paul shows (back-to-back Sept. 11-12) went on sale to the general public today, and then she added a third date for September 13, tickets for which go on sale December 12.

Second, someone went into the Internet archives and pulled out a clip of what is reportedly Swift doing a (pretty amusing) "Minnesota soccer mom" impression.

Watch here:

And listen right here:

According to BuzzFeed the clip is from 2009, when Swift – 19 years old at the time – was doing an interview on BBC Radio.

Why the Pennsylvania-born singer decided to do a Minnesota accent for a British audience, we don't know. But it should be enough to earn her at least a recurring role in season two of "Fargo."

What do you think? You betcha that was spot on, or oh geez was it bad?
