The Blue Barn is hosting a pop-at Twin Cities restaurants to mark the State Fair
The Blue Barn Restaurant at the Minnesota State Fair is hosting another round of pop-ups at Twin Cities restaurants to celebrate the Great Minnesota Get-Together.
The Blue Plate Restaurants in the Twin Cities – 3 Squares Restaurant, Edina Grill, The Freehouse, The Lowry, Longfellow Grill, Highland Grill and Groveland Tap – will serve up some of the most popular bites from the Blue Barn from Aug. 31-Sept. 7, according to a Facebook post.
On the menu you'll find:
- Meatloaf on a Stick
- Nashville Hot Chicken on a Stick
- Chicken in a Waffle Cone
- Pop Rocks French Toast
- Blue Cheese and Corn Fritz
- Blueberry Basil Lemonade
The Blue Barn menu will be available for dine-in or carry out.
The restaurants previously hosted a Blue Barn pop-up in July.
Meanwhile, the Blue Barn's Little Blue Food Truck is setting up at places around the Twin Cities this month, serving a menu of State Fair favorites. The truck's website is updated with where it'll be.
The Minnesota State Fair was canceled due to COVID-19, but there are many opportunities for people to get their fix of the fair this summer. Local breweries are serving up their State Fair-exclusive brews. There's a 12-day Minnesota Fare event at Rosedale Center. And tons of State Fair food vendors are setting up shop around the state (find them here).
