Minnesota had a few winners at the Grammy Awards last night. (For a full rundown of what happened, click here).

Bob Dylan won Best Historical Album for "The Basement Tapes Complete: The Bootleg Series Vol. 11" – a six-CD set covering hours of previously unreleased recordings from the mid-1960s, Rolling Stone says.

The Hibbing native was also nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for "Shadows in the Night," an album of Frank Sinatra cover, but he lost out to winners Tony Bennett & Bill Charlap.

Jazz composer and director Maria Schneider, born in Windom, won two Grammys – including for a recording with the late David Bowie.

The track "Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)" won Schneider the Grammy for Best Arrangement, Instrument and Vocals. The track is off 2014's "Nothing Has Changed," a three-CD collection of Bowie's catalogue, with a few new tracks thrown in – including "Sue."

On her site, Schneider called it "the most unimaginable privilege" to write and record the song with Bowie.

She also won Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album for her record "The Thompson Fields."

The late composer Stephen Paulus of St. Paul, who died after suffering a stroke in 2014, was nominated in three classical music categories. He won two of them Sunday:

Best Contemporary Classical Composition went to his work "Prayers & Remembrances."

His family said thank you on his behalf.

"Paulus: Three Places Of Enlightenment; Veil Of Tears & Grand Concerto," meanwhile won the Grammy for Best Classical Compendium.

Paulus did not win the Best Choral Performance category for his album "Far in the Heavens."

And then there's rapper Allan Kingdom, who was a guest on the Grammy-nominated Kanye West track "All Day." He went 0-for-2 though – the song did not win Best Rap Song or Best Rap Performance.
