The Revolution is holding three late-night dance parties at First Avenue following the band's Prince tribute shows.

Prince's original band said last month it would be reuniting for a Purple One tribute shows at the historic Minneapolis club, and now The Revolution says it will hold dance parties after the trio of performances this weekend, a news release says.

Special guest DJs will be spinning music from 11:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Sunday. Thursday's dance party will feature "Transmission" DJ Jake Rudh, while Roots drummer DJ Questlove will perform Friday and Saturday.

Tickets to the dance party are $10 – you can buy them online here. Those who already have a ticket to the concert are invited to stay for the dance party. (Buy The Revolution tickets online here.)

The Revolution's three-night stint at First Avenue is being called "An Evening with The Revolution," and will feature special guests Dez Dickerson, André Cymone and Apollonia (Prince's co-star in "Purple Rain").

The group announced the shows after it saw the outpouring of support following Prince's accidental overdose death. So Wendy, Lisa, Brownmark, Dr. Fink and Bobby Z decided to pay tribute to the Purple One in his home city, The Revolution said last month.
