There was a bull on the loose in Alexandria

Police had taken multiple calls about the bovine invader.

UPDATE: 11:15 A.M.

Douglas County Sheriff's Office says that the bull's owner has been located and the bull safely returned.

Original story

Police in Alexandria say there's a bull loose on the south side of the city.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office posted pictures on Facebook of the wayward bull, about which it has received several calls on Sunday morning.

It wants anyone with information about who its owner is to call its office on 320-762-8151.

The bull's ear tag reads "TNTF381," though to be honest you probably don't want to be close enough to read that.
