Third 'Pourhouse' bar opens up in Minneapolis
The fledgling chain that is The Pourhouse has opened its third bar in Minneapolis.
The official grand opening for The Pourhouse Uptown happens this Friday in its new location at 2923 Girard Ave. S.
But it looks as though it had its soft opening this past weekend, judging by pictures posted to its Facebook page.
The owner of the Pourhouse brand, Empire Entertainment, is expanding its footprint in the city, having opened a second bar this past fall, in Dinkytown, adding to the original location in downtown, which opened in 2012.

In its press release, Empire said each of its bars strives to "reflect the neighborhood in which it resides," and "has aspects that are unique and separate from the others."
Its Uptown bar resides in the giant space vacated by Coup D'Etat last October, with Empire promising its trademark sports/nightclub mix, as well as a late-night happy hour and weekly specials.
Something unique to its Uptown bar will be a walk-up food window, that Empire says is "soon-to-come."
