After recovering from a kitchen fire, Red Rabbit is set to reopen its North Loop location next week.

Starting Tuesday and through Nov. 30, the restaurant will be offering "fire-themed specials" including: wood-fired oysters, fire-roasted salmon, fire-kissed wings, roasted cauliflower, smoky sausage & polenta and a s'mores-based dessert.

A kitchen fire put the restaurant out of commission for about three months.

“Unfortunately, the hood fire caused more damage than we initially thought and we had to do quite a bit of clean-up, reconstruction and a thorough origin of ignition investigation,” said owner Luke Shimp in a press release.

"During the investigation, it was discovered the original exhaust design may have been the achilles heel in our two fires, subsequently our ventilation contractor & equipment supplier have installed a new design.”

The restaurant will have curbside pick-up and outdoor dining options.
