Country star Tim McGraw has been announced as the latest act booked for the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand Series.
McGraw will be joined on the bill by special guest Midland for the show on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m., costing $60, $78, and $88.
He's only the third Grandstand act to be booked for the 2020 State Fair, following on from The Doobie Brothers, who will be stopping in St. Paul as part of its 50th anniversary tour, and children's act Darci Lynne & Friends.
McGraw has been a regular visitor to the Twin Cities, notably playing fundraisers in recent years at the home of Snap Fitness CEO Peter Taunton, to raise money for military charities.
He was also a headline act at the inaugural Twin Cities Summer Jam, which was held in Shakopee last year.
His decades-long career has included 43 No. 1 singles and 16 No. 1 albums, and he has cemented himself as one of the biggest drawing country acts in the world.
You'll be able to get tickets from Etix.com or by calling 800-514-3849. Otherwise, you can get them from the State Fairgrounds ticket office during a limited time opening from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday.
