Trampled by Turtles (TBT) – a popular indie band from Duluth – is returning to Shakopee's Canterbury Park for the second annual Festival Palomino.

The pop-bluegrass group, which launched the music fest last year, have released the lineup and performance dates for the show, scheduled to kick off Sept. 19.

As they did in 2014, TBT will headline the concert, and joining them this time are Calexico, Benjamin Booker, Father John Misty and several other acts, according to the event's website.

The Pioneer Press says TBT "curated" the lineup themselves, with vita.mn describing the festival as a gathering of "rootsy," Americana-breed bands.

Palomino's website indicates a limited number of general admission tickets are now on sale for $50, but prices are set to go up by ten dollars next Tuesday.

Talking to First Avenue regarding the first Festival Palomino, TBT's lead singer said the band launched the event because they had "always envisioned creating a Minnesota festival featuring the music of some of our favorite musicians.”

The festival shares a name with the group's 2010 album, "Palomino."
