'Twilight' actor to speak at Red Lake Youth Leadership Conference

The leader of the Wolf Pack from the blockbuster "Twilight Saga" movie series is coming to the Red Lake Indian Reservation to deliver a motivational speech, the Forum of Fargo Moorhead reports.

Chaske Spencer, who starred as Sam Uley in the "Twilight" movies "New Moon," "Eclipse" and both parts of "Breaking Dawn," is speaking at the Red Lake Tribal Council's 6th annual Youth Leadership Conference on Thursday.

The 38-year-old actor was born into the Lakota Sioux tribe and was raised on reservations in Montana and Idaho.

The conference's them this year is "Warriors Don't Quit." Set for Wednesday and Thursday, the conference includes workshops on suicide prevention, drug abuse and teen pregnancy.
