Mousy-voiced Twin Cities comedian Mary Mack will soon be heard in a big way in a new animated show on FOX, the Pioneer Press reports.

Mack has a voice role in "Golan the Insatiable," which debuts on FOX's "Animation Domination High-Def" ("ADHD") series Jan. 11. She voices the character of Dylan, a young girl and best friend of a fearsome monster named Golan.

Mack, who was born in Fridley and grew up near Danbury, Wisconsin, now splits her time between the Twin Cities and Los Angeles. She is married to fellow Twin Cities comedian Tim Harmston.

"Golan the Insatiable" is the creation of Minnesota native Josh Miller (also known as Worm Miller), who tells the Pioneer Press that Mack was the perfect choice for the role.

Duluth-raised comic Maria Bamford also voices a role in one of show's episodes, according to the Internet Movie Database.

Vita.mn said Mack was cast in "Golan the Insatiable" in May. Viewers were given a sneak peek of the show last month.

Mack told Vita.mn that the show is not for kids, and it has "really inappropriate language with a lot of words I did not want to say."

"ADHD" airs Saturday nights from 10:30 to 11 p.m. Like other shows in the series, "Golan the Insatiable" will air in 15-minute blocks.

Mack isn't the only person with Minnesota ties with a regular role on "ADHD."

Entertainment news website Zap2it said Apple Valley native and "Mad Men" star Vincent Kartheiser is lending his voice to the shows "Axe Cop" and "High School USA!"
