The Twin Cities will this December play host to a WWE pay-per-view event in more than two years.

Target Center was announced on Monday as the venue for this year's "Tables, Ladders and Chairs," which is slated for Dec. 15.

Tickets go on sale next Friday, Oct. 11, at noon, with prices ranging from $25 to $500.

You can get them from either the Target Center box officer, targetcenter.com or by calling 888-9-AXS-TIX.

It's the first time the WWE has held one of its showpiece pay-per-views since October 2017, when Target Center was again the host, and "Tables, Ladders and Chairs" was again the event.

It comes at an interesting time for the WWE, whose Friday night SmackDown show gets its network debut on FOX this Friday.

Its third brand, NXT, now broadcasts live on USA every Wednesday, amid sudden competition from a rival promotion, All Elite Wrestling, whose own flagship show, "Dynamite," gets its premiere on TNT this Wednesday.
