Urban Outfitters to open its 4th Minnesota location
While the pandemic has proven to be extremely challenging for malls and some bricks-and-mortar retailers, there is some good news for Minnetonka's Ridgedale Mall on Wednesday.
Fashion chain Urban Outfitters announced that Ridgedale will be home to the company's 4th location in Minnesota.
The retailer, which has locations in Uptown, the Mall of America, and Rosedale Center, will open its doors on Apr. 1.
It will be found on the upper level of Nordstrom Lane.
“When we were searching for the best possible site for our next Minnesota location, Ridgedale Center became the clear choice because of its strong customer base, ideal west-metro location, and overall store-mix,” said Urban Outfitters District Brand Manager Kyle Surprise in a press release.
"Urban Outfitters is considered one of the freshest lifestyle-related retailers out there. We are looking forward to bringing their unique energy and product mix to Ridgedale,” said Ridgedale Senior General Manager Joan Suko.
The mall had more good news to share in December when it was confirmed that Dick's Sporting Goods would be opening in the former Sears anchor tenant spot, which had been vacant since Sears closed in 2018.
