The theme park in Shakopee announced on Tuesday that it'll be hiring 2,000 new staff for the 2019 season, which gets underway on Saturday, May 11.

Positions will start at $12-an-hour, while benefits include free entry to the theme park, discounts on food and merchandise, and access to employee-only ride nights.

Most of the positions are available to those aged 16 and older, though a limited number of jobs required a minimum age of 14 years.

It also says the positions will be flexible, offering a "choose-your-own-hours" scheduling system allowing staff to work as much or as little as they'd like.
