Dinkytown music venue Varsity Theater is roaring back into action in 2018.

On Tuesday morning, two new concerts were announced on the club's Facebook page.

Danish alt-rock act New Politics have a show booked on Feb. 22, and singer-songwriter Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness follows on April 13

The shows are the first at the Varsity since November of 2016, and the first under the venue's Hong Kong-based ownership group, Gaw Capital Partners.

The theater was purchased in June for $2.51 million. Previous owner James McLean was accused of sexual abuse and was sued following the allegations.

According to an announcement on the venue's website, they "plan on announcing more concerts before the end of the year and will re-open sometime in early 2018!"

The Varsity is hosting a job fair on Saturday, Jan. 13.
