A video of vehicles stranded in a Rochester parking lot is the very definition of going viral.

Kelsey Saladin, Rachel Hoverstad and Hanwen Wong posted the video mid-afternoon Sunday and within five hours it reached a million views. Now, as of 8 a.m. Monday, the viral video has reached an unbelievable 5.3 million views along with 18,000 comments and nearly 100,000 shares.

So what's the big deal?

Perched high above in an apartment complex, the trio recorded video of dozens of vehicles, large and small, getting stuck trying to leave the parking lot through massive drifts and blowing snow during a blizzard.

Even two plow trucks got stuck and needed help getting out.

But what really makes the video special are the funny captions and random music inserts, which, fittingly, on the day of the Oscars, includes Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust."

"We had no idea," said Saladin when asked if she thought the video could go viral. "I only shared it so my parents could see it easier."
