Video: Snapchat creates 21st century love story on college campus

This is the age of technology, where many people ditch traditional dating to find love via online matchmaking websites and smartphone apps.

In fact, an unlikely app is what sparked a 21st century love story on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.

Snapchat allows its users to take pictures and short videos and send (or "snap") them to friends. Once the recipient opens the picture or video, it disappears for good.

The app also has a feature that allows users to save their snaps to a public feed (called a story).

The UW-Madison has its own story feed where students upload pictures and videos for classmates to view. And that's exactly how "Mystery Girl" found the love of her life (maybe), "Vikings Fan."

Check out the video below of the two love birds searching for each other as classmates root them on.
