The Minnesota native rarely addresses fans directly.

Not one for small talk, Bob Dylan surprised fans in Vienna, Austria when he broke his rule of not speaking directly to fans at his concerts.

Rolling Stone reports that the Minnesota native grew irritated at fans flouting the strict "no photos" policy he enforces at each of his shows.

He stopped part-way through "Blowin' in the Wind" to tell off the audience, saying: "Take pictures or don’t take pictures. We can either play or we can pose. Okay?"

Dylan then proceeded to step backwards and tripped over a guitar monitor, stumbling dangerously before managing to correct himself, straightening his jacket before resuming.

Video of it was put on social media before later being deleted, but not before someone turned the stumble into a gif.
