Former WCCO meteorologist Matt Brickman is the latest TV personality to catch a bit of viral steam on social media after his at-home recording session turned into an opportunity for the world to get to know his sons.

Brickman, who left the Twin Cities last August for a job at NBC New York, was recording a promo shoot from home when Henry repeatedly interrupted to inform his father of a number of important things happening in his life, including:

  • Preparing water for their bike ride.
  • Wearing rain boots because "you said rain is coming."
  • Mom took all of his Transformer stuff, including his Voltron shoes.

But the best part of the interruptions is when Brickman is alerted by his wife, Kate, that their other son, Otis, "pooped on his leg a little bit."

Brickman worked at WCCO-TV for eight years, serving as the weekday morning meteorologist.

At NBC New York, Brickman anchors the weekend weather coverage for "News 4 New York" at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m., in addition to providing forecasts weekdays on the show.
