Celebrating Halloween together in New York City, a St. Paul couple got engaged on live TV.

Scott Plochner and girlfriend Heidi Le were dressed as cartoon couple Popeye and Olive Oyl when a reporter from Spectrum's NY1 news tracked them down for an interview during the Village Halloween Parade.

As the interview started, Plochner dropped to a knee and proposed to Le live on air.

"I want to make my favorite day, every day of my life with this girl," Plochner said.

"Heidi Le, I love you, will you marry me?"

According to their Facebook pages, Plochner is from St. Paul and Le's hometown is Bloomington.

The Village Halloween Parade is held yearly in New York City's Greenwich Village.
