Watch: Oprah records her reaction to the cold in Twin Cities

It was a chilly weekend to visit.

Oprah Winfrey has been and gone from the Twin Cities, but received a proper dose of cold weather during her visit.

She took to the stage in front of a packed Xcel Energy Center on Saturday, giving an inspirational talk featuring guest appearances from Tina Fey and Julianne Hough as part of her Oprah's 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus tour.

On Friday, Oprah and Fey had been on Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis, where they recreated the Mary Tyler Moore hat toss next to her statue, and also surprised runners on the Stone Arch Bridge.

And on her Twitter account Sunday, Oprah gave her 42.8 million followers a taste of the most difficult of experiences for visitors to Minnesota in January: the temperature.

She recorded this slo-mo video showing her reaction as she left The Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis with the temperature at negative 2.

"This right here.. is a different kind of cold!" she tweeted. "Thank you Minnesota. Next time see you in summer."
