A sixth-grader with cerebral palsy made a touchdown during a football game during recess at Detroit Lakes Middle School, and a video of the play has gone viral.
Kale Hannahs was passed the ball during a game last week, with his teacher Katie Biggar capturing it on video (watch it below).
Biggar wrote, "Sometimes people think I'm crazy for teaching middle school, and then sometimes this happens at recess."
Kale told Valley News Live he's usually content just watching his classmates play, but last week they made sure he had a chance to play.
"I was the quarterback. I was the one running. They gave me the ball and tried to block the other team so I wouldn't get hit," he told the news station.
Vikings' wide receiver Adam Thielen, himself a native of Detroit Lakes, told Kale "nice work" in a tweet.
Since being posted to Facebook on Thursday, Biggar's video has been shared thousands of times.
