WCCO introduces new TV meteorologist Lisa Meadows

Meadows comes to Minnesota from California.

There's a new meteorologist at WCCO-TV in the Twin Cities.

The station introduced Lisa Meadows to its broadcast crew on Tuesday morning, with Meadows describing herself as a "big weather nerd" who grew up in the Chicago metropolitan area.

Meadows comes to Minnesota after spending two years as a weekend meteorologist at CBS13 in Sacramento, California.

During her final appearance at CBS13 last month, Meadows said she's taking the job in Minneapolis so she can be closer to her family.
