Watch the inspiring story of Ezra Frech, once nominated as "Sports Illustrated Kids" Sports Kid of the Year.
The now 10-year-old athlete is no stranger to challenges. Born with congenital anomalies in his leg and hand, Frech's leg was amputated at age 2 and his toe was relocated to his hand to act as a thumb.
Frech's physical differences have not hindered his inarguable talent or passion for sports. "I have to think about what I have instead of what I don't have."
"I don't feel different when I'm playing sports because that takes me away from my disability." He continues, "it's a good thing that I'm born like this. I've learned how to be confident in myself, I've learned how to be strong."
