Weezer and Pixies are teaming up for a 21-city tour next spring that includes a stop in St. Paul.

Weezer will be touring off the back of their upcoming new album, The Black Album, which is slated for released in 2019.

Best known for hits including "Buddy Holly" and "Hash Pipe," the Los Angeles-based band re-entered national consciousness earlier this year with its (vastly inferior) cover of Toto track "Africa."

They will be joined on the tour by grunge heroes Pixies, who will open the show at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday, March 30.

Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public this Friday at 10 a.m., which you can buy from LiveNation.com.

Weezer released the first track from The Black Album on Thursday, called "Can't Knock the Hustle," to coincide with the tour announcement, with the video featuring a guest appearance by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz.
