Think you've got what it takes to be one of the country's best amateur chefs?

If so, you can show off your skills next month in Minneapolis, when showrunners from Fox's MasterChef are in town.

An open casting call is being held between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sept. 8 in an as-yet undetermined location, but those interested in participating can register now.

The show, hosted by celebrated British chef-turned TV star Gordon Ramsey, is now in its 10th season.

To enter, you first need to pre-register your interest here here. Then you need to download an application form and bring it with you to the audition, which you can get here.

Those auditioning must bring one prepared dish to be served to judges – you'll be given 3 minutes to plate your dish at the location, but there won't be a kitchen to cook or warm up your dish, "so come prepared," the show says.

"Also, we will NOT supply you with dishes, utensils, etc., so you must bring your own," it adds.

To enter you must be over 18 years old and a citizen/legal resident of the U.S. You cannot be or have ever been a professional chef, nor can your main source of income be from preparing food.
