A bar fight in St. Paul early Saturday morning left one person dead and another injured.

KARE 11 reports the stabbings at Moonshine Saloon in the 1100 block of 7th Street happened just before 2 a.m.

Two men with stab wounds were transported to Regions Hospital.

One victim died and the other has non-life threatening injuries. The identities of the victims have not been released.

Police continue to investigate. No arrests have been made.

It's not immediately clear what led up to the assault. Police tell the Pioneer Press that the bar doesn't have a reputation as being a crime hot spot.

The Moonshine Saloon in Dayton's Bluff was formerly known as Michael's and, before that, The Noose.
